The CONSORT Group- CONSORT, which stands for Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials, encompasses various initiatives developed by the CONSORT Group to alleviate the problems arising from inadequate reporting of randomized controlled trials (RCTs)

The EQUATOR Group- The EQUATOR Network is an international initiative that seeks to improve reliability and value of medical research literature by promoting transparent and accurate reporting of research studies.

The Cochrane collaboration

Methodology Research Group of the Mental Health Research Network- The Mental Health Research Network is part of the National Institute for Health Research and their mission is to help make research about mental health happen within the NHS in England

Handling missing data- This site exists to support researchers from the social and medical sciences with the analysis of incomplete datasets, and as a focus of statistical research

Code for mixed and indirect treatment comparisons- This collaborative programme centred in Bristol and York attempts to develop and evaluate new statistical methods for complex evidence synthesis with applications in both epidemiology and medical decision-making

COMET- The COMET (Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials) Initiative brings together people interested in the development and application of agreed standardised sets of outcomes, known as ‘core outcome sets’.

DIRUM- DIRUM is a project funded by the Medical Research Council Network of Hubs for Trial Methodology Research (MRC HTMR) to compile a Database of Instruments for Resource Use Measurement. Led by Bangor University, and in collaboration with the Universities of Bristol, Birmingham, British Columbia, and the London School of Economics and Political Science, the aim is to create a practical, open-access database of resource-use questionnaires for use by trial health economists.
